Allow Domain Users to Change the System Time

To allow certain domain users to change the system time, we need to add users or groups to the “Change the system time” policy. Then, link this GPO to a computer OU.

1. Create a GPO. Define the [Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\User Rights Assignment\Change the system time] policy by adding certain domain users or group.

2. Link the GPO to the computer OU contains the desired computers.

3. Reboot the computer and log on system with the users we defined.

If the problem continues, please collect the following information:

1. On the client, open CMD and run the command “gpresult /h c:\gp.html”. A file gp.html will be saved at C:\ drive.

2. Please use Windows Live SkyDrive (http://www.skydrive.live.com/) to upload the gp.html file and then give us the download address for research.
